Mr. Geoffery M.Buckland obtained his Bachelor of Law, with honours, at the K.U. Leuven.

Immediately after completing his university studies, he began working as a notary at law in a notary office in Bree.

During this job, he discovered an interest in business law. Attracted to business and all its various facets, he decided to study for an additional Master's degree in Fiscal Studies (with an emphasis on company taxation) and various modules from the Master of Management.

Ive obtained his Master's degree in Fiscal Studies, with honours, at the K.U. Leuven in 2010. In the same year, he also studied subjects such as Human Resource Management, Analysing Annual Reports, Marketing, Strategy & Management, etc.

His fiscal thesis "The liquidation of businesses. A fiscal explanation" was retained by the K.U. Leuven in order to compete for the biannual BIBF prizes on behalf of the university. He came a very respectable third.

In the context of his management studies, and with his team, he also obtained the best result of the year in the ESRA-business game, organised by the Master of Management at the K.U. Leuven.

After his additional studies, he began his legal internship in 2011, in the office of Mr. Ivo Budé as a result of his extensive interest in business and insolvency law.
